Las Islas Marietas

Just of the coast of Mexico's Puerto Vallarta, this stunning hidden beach is only accessible at low tide, by swimming down a 50 ft tunnel or by scuba diving in.  Said to have been created by some bomb practise during the first world war, this beauty is just one of several exciting caves and beaches on the island.

The islands are said to have been formed thousands of years ago by volcanic eruptions and are now a UNESCO world heritage site.  The tropical climate enjoys 12 months of heavy sunshine and is very much an idealistic natural setting, as it is still fairly clear of tourists.

I wish i had been here when i went to Mexico... next time.  If anyone has been here, please let me know all the details.
